Crochet Quick Sand
When I'm getting ready for a craft market my house is a total disaster.
I am focused on getting all my crochet finished and my table set up right - never mind laundry, cleaning and other non-crochet related errands and chores.
At this time of year, my house looks like a yarn factory exploded!
Today I feel like I'm sinking in crochet quick sand!!

What are you doing next Weekend?
Hey! What are you doing next weekend?
I'll be at the Portobello West Fashion and Art Market at the Creekside Community Centre both Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 from 11-5.
Drop by and say HI!
This weekend I'm working on a mock set up of my market table (in my dining room) and taking inventory of ALL my crochet.
Here is a pic of my FINGERLESS GLOVES mid inventory.
I make these more like wrist cuffs with a thumb hole. They are approx. 6 inches long and one size fits all.
I LOVE to arrange them by colour. Don't they look so pretty?
These fingerless gloves are perfect for when it's cold outside and you "need" to text or use your smart phone!
They are also great if you or someone you know has arthritis in their wrists and hands - keeps them nice and warm but their fingers free to do stuff around the house.

I like to wear mine while I'm working on the computer late at night. So cozy!
What a thoughtful gift - hint hint!
I'll try and post more sneak peeks of what I'll be bringing to the craft markets this year.
Stay tuned!!

Crochet Doggy Blanket
Last year I made an afghan for my sister.
She liked it so much she asked me to make one for my niece. So I made her one, for her birthday this year.
My sister also asked me to make one for Zoe - my niece's min pin. Apparently she loves my sister's afghan but really needs her own.
This was a first time request for me.
I've never made a doggy blanket before but she is a small dog and I had a couple balls of yarn leftover so I thought "why not?"
She loves it!

New Crochet Products!
It's been a long time since I posted to this blog but I have been busy crocheting up a storm for this year's craft sales (Holiday season starting in October).
I'm expanding my crochet product line - don't worry I'll still have my HATS, FLOWER PINS and INFINITY SCARVES - but I'm adding SHRUGS and BABY BLANKETS!! See bottom of this post for sneak peeks of BABY BLANKETS.
As requested I've brought back FINGERLESS GLOVES and CABLED HEADBANDS (see below for pics - both in a wide variety of gorgeous colours!!!).
I'll try and post some SHRUG photos soon - I just have to convince my daughter to model them for me!!
If you see anything you like please email me and I can let you know dimensions, cost and how to make it yours!!
